Day 18  Revelation 12: 1-6
“She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.” And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne.”
Revelation 12:5

It was prophesized that from Israel would come forth God’s Son who would bring salvation to all the world and rule all nations. Jesus’ human ancestry was through the tribe of Judah. After securing salvation through His death on the Cross, He was resurrected and spent 4o days (Acts 1: 3) on earth among His disciples. Then, when it was time to return to heaven, He ascended into heaven where He sits now on His throne next to God the Father interceding for all who come to faith.

When a born again believer comes to faith, he must remain on earth until he/she is called into heaven. Jesus ascended into heaven after encouraging His disciples to go into the world and preach the gospel; testifying of Him and His great salvation. Our call can come through death or while living. Either way, the one who comes to faith believing in Jesus Christ is “snatched” into heaven, and brought into the presence of his Lord and Savior.
(1 Thessalonians 4:17)

Thank you heavenly Father that no one can “snatch” us out of your hands while here on earth. We are secure in your love. And when we are called into heaven we will be caught up to heaven like Jesus to be with you forever. (John 10:29)

Key Word: snatched, caught up Strong’s 726 – (hērpasthē) -The verb translated “catch up,” “snatch,” “take by force,” or “pluck” occurs fourteen times in the Greek New Testament. In every setting the action is sudden, decisive, and beyond the power of the one seized to resist. Whether the context involves hostile aggression, divine rescue, or eschatological transport, the idea is consistently that of swift removal. (biblehub.org)

About Doula Faith

I am first and foremost a child of God, "born again" into the Kingdom of God through faith in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He has called me to be an "Encourager" of faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. I have learned through some painful trials of His unconditional love. The apple of my eye, is Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Living Word.
