Day 17  Genesis 49:8-12
“The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until he to whom it belongs shall come and the obedience of the nations shall be his.”
Genesis 49:10

Before Jacob died he blessed his sons. But the blessing upon Judah revealed that through this tribe the Messiah, the one who would rule all nations would come.

Jesus went about preaching repentance and the Kingdom of God. He told Nicodemus, a pharisee that in order to see the Kingdom of God, he would need to be born again. In Matthew 6, Jesus told the crowd that it was God’s desire to meet all their needs, but they would first need to seek the Kingdom of God.
(  John 3:3, Matthew 6:33 )
The Kingdom that Jesus spoke of was an eternal Kingdom where He would reign forever. God wants to reign in our life, but only through accepting His salvation through Jesus Christ,  we can enter His spiritual Kingdom, today, and His Physical Kingdom when Christ  returns and sets up His Kingdom on earth.

Thank you, heavenly Father for giving us a Kingdom and a King who will rule all nations. Thank you for your Son, Jesus Christ who through obedience, even unto death, procured the scepter and staff Jacob prophesized. Your Word is Truth. I want to submit to Your Holy Spirit through grace by faith, here now, and forever in Your eternal Kingdom.

“Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power.” 1 Corinthians 15:24

About Doula Faith

I am first and foremost a child of God, "born again" into the Kingdom of God through faith in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He has called me to be an "Encourager" of faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. I have learned through some painful trials of His unconditional love. The apple of my eye, is Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Living Word.
