Reflection
R– This reminds me of how Jesus would get up before dawn to meet with God so He could do the work He was called to do. His food was the Word of God and His strength came through meeting with God every day, not just once and awhile. He would continue diligently, until the work of His Father was done.
We make ourselves strong by abiding in Christ before the day begins and throughout the day and night. Apart from Jesus we can accomplish little, but through Him we can do all things because He gives us the strength to accomplish His will, when we remember to abide in Him. John 15:4
Cross References- Philippians 4:13, Matthew 6:33, John 15:5
Prayer
P- Thank You Lord that your Word reminds me that apart from you I cannot do what you want for my family or the Kingdom of God, but through you I can accomplish all things, because it is your abiding Spirit that strengthens me.
