Day 10
Genesis 3: 1-19

“And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” Genesis 3:15

God tells Satan how he will ultimately be defeated for deceiving Adam and Eve. He tells him that from a woman will come the one who will crush his head (his authority on earth). In the process, Satan will wound the One who is sent but it will become his undoing, his ultimate destruction and defeat.

In the process of defeating Satan and saving mankind, Jesus endured pain and suffering, but it did not affect His authority and His redemptive plan. Because of His suffering in destroying our enemy we have victory over death and escape the eternal punishment for our sins. Jesus did what we could not do, and it was God’s plan to redeem us through His Son and reconcile us to Himself.   (Romans 5:10)

Lord, how awesome it is that you provided a Savior the moment we sinned. He has given us victory over death and secures us eternally the moment we believe. Jesus made Himself vulnerable for our sake, and took upon Himself our punishment. Your ways are awesome and your plans are perfect and complete.

About Doula Faith

I am first and foremost a child of God, "born again" into the Kingdom of God through faith in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He has called me to be an "Encourager" of faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. I have learned through some painful trials of His unconditional love. The apple of my eye, is Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Living Word.
