Infused with His Love

As I recently heard my Pastor’s sermon, mentioning, how Jesus infuses us with the persuasion of Himself, the word “infuse” rang a familiar bell. This is how we believe and have faith. If we have encountered the Living Word we are forever infused with His Blood and sealed with His mark. (Ephesians 1:13)

“…….Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have believed and confidently trusted, and we have come to know that You are the Holy One of God”. John 6:67-69

The word “infusion” is something I recently have been literally doing, as I learn to work with infusible ink in sublimating porcelain mugs with the Word of God. In order to infuse color into the fabric, the cups have to be placed in a mug press where the heat along with the pressure infuses the ink and creates a permanent image that will not rub off. (Deuteronomy 27: 2-3)

This reminds me how the closer we get to Jesus the more we take on His resemblance and know His Heart. It is actually from the heat of trials and tribulations He is revealed and we see where we are.
(James 1:2-3)
As we press into Jesus we take on a renewed confidence and boldness unlike ourselves. We can’t hide His nature once He’s plugged into our life. He leads us forever with cords of love. He’s poured Himself into our spirit and never gives up. Some will embrace our transformation while others will be repelled.
None the less, we forever carry His imprint (image), sealed with His favor, sealed with His Kiss. (Acts 4:13)

“And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ”.
Ephesians 3:18
