Deliver Us from Evil

Context: 2 Thessalonians 3:1-18
Focus: 2 Thessalonians 3: 1-5

“Pray too, that we will be rescued from wicked and evil people, for not everyone is a believer, but the Lord is faithful. He will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one. “

The Lord promises that no weapon formed against the believer will prosper. Although we may fall into his traps, the Lord is there to remove us from the net of deception. He will strengthen us in our trials. For He is faithful and steadfast in His love for us. Nothing can separate us from His unconditional love which He bestows on all who come to Him in faith in His salvation found in Christ Jesus.

Thank You Lord for your protection. Your Word and promise to uphold us with your right hand whenever we fall is my “holdfast”. (Isaiah 41:13) In all our trials you are there working it all for good and for your glory. Love never fails, be glorified, Lord, and honored in my faith in You, to do only what you can do.
