Lost Identity

His Abide

“For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror.  You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like.  But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.”

James 1: 23-25

Reflection: Some of us are ravenous for the Word, while some are content with a quick glance and never partake of it completely, left hungry, malnourished, becoming sick even to the point of death, not knowing Who we are in Christ.

Prayer: Lord, may your Word be so much a part of me, I see Jesus.

About Doula Faith

I am first and foremost a child of God, "born again" into the Kingdom of God through faith in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He has called me to be an "Encourager" of faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. I have learned through some painful trials of His unconditional love. The apple of my eye, is Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Living Word.
