Anointed
Painting by Brandi Kathleen Ramirez (BK)
“Her children arise and “call her blessed“; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” Proverbs 31: 28
Note: A synonym for blessed is “anointed“. Blessed to be His Blessing –
Ephesians 1:3
Noble- having or showing fine personal qualities or high moral principles and ideals.
Scripture Context: Proverbs 31: 10-31
Scripture Focus: Proverbs 31: 10-12 NIV: “
“A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.”
My Summary
S- It is hard to find a wife, a spouse, in whom you can trust, whose intentions are to bring you only good and gain and not harm, throughout their entire life, one of noble character, one you can trust.
My Reflection:
R- I realize this is a description of a woman who is anointed or set apart for a divine task. The one who is anointed is also called by God. And right away I understood how an excellent wife is hard to find, indeed, who knows how to serve her husband and family. Her worth is priceless. But how does one develop a noble character? The one who develops a moral and noble character abides in Jesus Christ.

My Prayer:
P– Dear Lord, Let the blessings that come from trusting and abiding in you, flow from me to others, every day. If I abide in your word and your love, I know I can do anything and in your way.
