Isaiah 30:21
When it comes to the right perspective concerning ourselves, we are neither to think more highly of ourselves than we ought and at the same time think less of ourselves, as well. Both will end in preventing the Lord to work in our lives according to His perfect Will.
Romans 12:3, Romans 8:1
The right perspective is to know ourselves as God knows us in Christ. We are a process in the making which the Lord is committed to complete.
Philippians 1: 6
Though we begin our journey on the low plains of life, by following Christ we will develop wings of confidence and soar where He abides in heavenly places.
Isaiah 40:30-31, Ephesians 1:3-6
This confidence is not self-confidence but rather the Holy Spirit’s confidence of God’s faithfulness to do what is impossible for us to do. Philippians 4:13
When we look to ourselves we remain grounded. But the minute we focus on the Author and Finisher of our faith we rise above our circumstances, above the clouds of despair where the SON remains fixed and shining.
Hebrews 12: 1-2, Revelation 22:16, 2 Peter 1:19
