Deep Waters

“When you go through deep waters,I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up;the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord, your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.” Isaiah 43:2-3

I was overwhelmed with grief and sorrow.  I felt such defeat and rejection.  It was as though I were drowning in my own remorse.  The waters overwhelmed me.  Then I remembered my Savior Who suffered all forms of rejection and yet forgave and took all our accusations, blows of pain and sin on Himself, on the Cross.  He was wounded for our transgressions.  He was chastised for our failures and sin (Isaiah 53).  He was separated from His Father’s presence, yet He prayed, “Forgive them for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:34)

Therefore, He has redeemed us with an everlasting love.  He will turn all our sorrows into Joy.  His Sovereignty is  over every circumstance.  He is Lord and King.

I shall know of His power and majesty and His faithfulness.

I waited upon the Lord and He delivered me from the miry clay and set my feet upon solid ground- “His foundation of Salvation” through faith in His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

He is full of Mercy and Grace and faithful to do exceedingly more than we can ever hope or think when we place our Trust in Him. (Ephesians 3: 20-21

Place your trust in the Lord and you will never be disappointed (Isaiah 64:4)

About Doula Faith

I am first and foremost a child of God, "born again" into the Kingdom of God through faith in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He has called me to be an "Encourager" of faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. I have learned through some painful trials of His unconditional love. The apple of my eye, is Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Living Word.
