Any attractions or distractions that take our focus off our Lord are dangerous. We MUST keep looking straight ahead to God – not to the right or to the left. He alone must be our heart’s desire. Satan is the father of ALL lies. Provocations are lies against the holiness of El Shaddai. Satan prowls seeking to destroy. Stand firm. Again, stand firm. Keep your armor on!
And they are sometimes good attractions as well. I agree.
Definitely believe distractions are top on the list of things used to prevent hearing from God, and/or spending time in His word.
