“Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.’ John 17:3

When I was meditating on this scripture, the following song immediately came to my mind. I remember hearing it in the 50’s. So I decided to take a look at the lyrics. In reflection, I realized the Lord was revealing how He felt; it isn’t He that is blind to our love, but rather we are blind to His.  For as we are meant for Him, He is meant for us. And once we are introduced, though we may temporarily lose our way, His unconditional love we will never forget.  And since the Father has betrothed Him to all who believe, we are destined to walk alongside of Him for eternity because He is our Destiny.
