                                                                 Baby

Day 25 Luke 2:8-20
“This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
Luke 2:12

In Genesis God promises He will destroy Satan and his works through the woman’s seed (Genesis 3:15). The seed is Jesus Christ. Therefore, Jesus had to experience complete humanity beginning as an embryo in Mary’s womb.   When Elizabeth heard Mary’s voice,  the baby (John the Baptist) in her womb acknowledged the presence of the Lord by physically leaping.
Today, thru the act of abortion, Satan tries to destroy humanity by convincing unbelieving pregnant women  that what is developing within her womb is of little or of no significance.
Yet, God chose for Jesus, His Son to develop from the divine seed of God’s implantation. Therefore, the small beginning which God chooses to bring forth, culminates in becoming
His greatest glory – ” Immanuel”.

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you that you have chosen the smaller things in this world to display your glory. The gospel seed is simple, direct,  yet contains the power to save our souls; penetrating our heart, being nourished on the Word, resulting in faith that reaches heaven’s eternal gates. (Philippians 1:6)

“Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” John 3:3

Key Word: baby – Strong’s 1025: Infant, babe, child in arms. Of uncertain affinity; an infant literally or figuratively.
Strong’s Greek 1025 (βρέφος, brephos) denotes a human offspring at the earliest stages of life. The term embraces both prenatal life (an unborn child) and postnatal life (a newborn or very young infant). Its elasticity allows Scripture to speak of life in the womb and life in the cradle without lexical distinction, underscoring one continuous human reality. (biblehub.com)

About Doula Faith

I am first and foremost a child of God, "born again" into the Kingdom of God through faith in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He has called me to be an "Encourager" of faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. I have learned through some painful trials of His unconditional love. The apple of my eye, is Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Living Word.
