Day 8
John 1: 1-18

“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
 John 1:14 NIV

The One who created everything and brought everything into existence came in human form to manifest Himself. From cradle (manger) to tomb He walked among us and taught us Truth and was Light.  He was rejected by the world and even His own people, but to all who believe in Him, it has been given the right to be children and heirs of the living God; Those who accept His life and sacrifice for the forgiveness of their sins are born spiritually into His Kingdom and are able to live the abundant life. (John 3:3)

The thought that God would humble Himself to reach humanity is a concept that is hard to grasp.  And the fact He  left Heaven and came to earth, becoming the created for our sake,  is demonstration of the greatest love.  Therefore, there is no excuse in rejecting this eternal gift which He offers to all who believe in His begotten Son – Jesus Christ.

Lord, I want to grasp the depth, width, and height of your great love and share it with others whom I also learn to love. (Ephesians 3: 18-19)

About Doula Faith

I am first and foremost a child of God, "born again" into the Kingdom of God through faith in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He has called me to be an "Encourager" of faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. I have learned through some painful trials of His unconditional love. The apple of my eye, is Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Living Word.
