Harmony

Context: Ephesians 4

Focus: Ephesians 4: 14-16

“He makes the whole body fit together perfectly.  As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing full of love.
Ephesians 4: 16

harmony – agreement; accord; harmonious relations.
a consistent, orderly, or pleasing arrangement of parts; congruity.

Summary: The Lord matures believers  by placing leadership within the body, (Spiritual Body) with all the gifts needed to grow them up in unity and faith.  The purpose is to keep the pure doctrine ( Word) knowing what is the Truth.  Those who are maturing speak the language of love. Jesus who is Head of His Body causes it to fit together perfectly as each part does what (he/she) is gifted to do.  When all of the parts are working in one accord the Body is healthy and strong growing in love for one another which is a beautiful thing to behold.

Reflection: Love draws unbelievers as a magnet, and opens up their ears to hear the sound of Truth.
It is a beautiful thing to hear instruments in harmony, each,  playing their part.
Together they await the maestro’s signal who leads the holy throng into His dwelling place, blessing the Savior with their song.

“How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!
For harmony is as precious as the anointing oil that was poured over Aaron’s head, that ran down his beard and onto the border of his robe. Harmony is as refreshing as the dew from Mount Hermon that falls on the mountains of Zion. And there the LORD has pronounced his blessing, even life everlasting.”  Psalm 133: 1-3

CR – Psalm 42:4, Psalm 68: 24-26, John 13:35, Ecclesiastes 4:12, Ephesians 4: 4-6

Prayer: Lord, in this last hour bring us together with one mind and purpose to love one another and to make such a beautiful sound, it draws those who don’t know you to know the Truth of your gospel message. For you said,” they will know they are my disciples because they have love for one another. ” Lord, Keep us in LOVE.

About Doula Faith

I am first and foremost a child of God, "born again" into the Kingdom of God through faith in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He has called me to be an "Encourager" of faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. I have learned through some painful trials of His unconditional love. The apple of my eye, is Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Living Word.
