Matthew 24: 9-11
“Then they will deliver you over to be persecuted and killed, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. At that time many will fall away and will betray and hate one another, and many false prophets will arise and mislead many.”
S- Jesus told His disciples they could expect to be delivered into tribulation, such as, persecution, and be put to death. They would be hated by all nations for His Name sake. Many will fall away, betray and hate one another. Many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. Lawlessness will increase and the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And the gospel of the Kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
R- Since the time of Christ’s resurrection developing within a fallen world has been the Kingdom of God, and the world governments have rejected Christ’s reign. Like a child aborted, the world has rejected Christ’s influence and those in faith. But those who have a relationship with Jesus Christ are sealed in His love, His Holy Spirit, and will not fall away, because it is impossible, for He that is within the “born again” believer is greater than He that is in the world. And, nothing in this world can separate those who have a relationship with Christ, faith in His blood, from His great love.

P- Lord, thank you for not only saving me, but keeping me by your faithfulness and love. May I honor you today, and put you first in all things, as you put me first when you shed your precious blood, and sacrificed your life on the cross. (Romans 8: 31-39, 1 John 4:10)

In this fallen broken world, we often see the Love of many growing cold. There is a rise in wickedness, hatred and bitterness everywhere. As a Believer, we thank our Lord for Saving us and giving us wisdom and strength to love others even in difficult situations. To Forgive, to avoid being critical and sometimes keeping our mouths shut so that we do not hurt others are some of the many Godly ways to love and be the Light and Salt in this generation. And we can only do this through the power of Holy Spirit that is in work within us. Thank you for the post dear Mary.
To be honest I’d don’t like what you wrote but it truly is the truth!….these are the days we live in and I’m learning to get used to it!
