"Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised," Proverbs 31: 30 ESV
Scripture Context: Proverbs 31
11/20/21 Scripture Focus: Proverbs 31: 30
Summary Beauty is found in knowing the Lord.
charm – a power of pleasing or attracting, as through personality or beauty
Reflection R– In today’s culture many times it is the outward appearance we focus on, but this is fleeting, at best. But true beauty comes from within, and the woman who has a relationship with the Lord, has the lasting beauty of His Character that reaches out to others again and again. She is attractive for her acts of kindness, aglow with His Spirit, real beauty shines from within.
Cross References– Psalm 111:10, 1 Peter 3:3-6, John 15: 9-10, John 15:1-17
Prayer P- Lord, let us focus on you, and your eternal love which transforms us into something beautiful for you to behold.
