Just as Moses’ mother had to release him into the Lord’s care to save him from this world, so it is we need to let go of our children and place them in the stream of love which leads to their security in Jesus Christ. He watches over them and returns them to us, brand new, with purpose and godly character, living for His glory in faith alone.
(Hebrews 11:23, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Proverbs 3: 5-6,)
It has been said, the thing we hold too tightly we will one day lose. For even our loved ones can become a possession controlled until they become an idol which dominates our entire focus. As Christian mothers, our confidence is in the Lord, for His loving kindness, mercy and grace far exceeds our own. (Isaiah 54: 13-15, 1 Samuel 1-2: 1-11,Psalm 63:3)
