Astrology: A Prophet in the Sky?
I Think Not!
But You Decide.
“He made all the stars–the Bear and Orion, the Pleiades and the constellations of the southern sky.” Job 9:9
“And when you look up into the sky and see the sun, moon, and stars–all the forces of heaven–don’t be seduced into worshiping them. The LORD your God gave them to all the peoples of the earth.” Deuteronomy 4:19
God placed the constellations in the sky for light and navigational purposes. Only His Word and Holy Spirit can give direction for our life.
Astrology as it relates to horoscopes is deceptive. We don’t look to the stars for guidance or to foretell our future, but rather to the one Who created the stars and placed them in a specific pattern in the sky.
God created us with His DNA- Divine NAture and we are all distinct and unique individuals according to His design and plan. (Psalm 139, Jeremiah 29:11)
There are three million DNA codes in each human cell which is God’s unique design giving our body and mind direction. Do we tell our heart to beat or our lungs to breathe? Do we tell our white blood cells where to go when there is an infection? Of course not, but our creator has done this, making all provision for our body to function and heal.
When we come to faith in Jesus Christ, believing and confessing He is the Son of God, we are given His Holy Spirit, Who dwells within us to guide and direct us and keep us in faith. Then we know who we are and Who He is and life has eternal meaning.

So where do we go to know who we are and to know God as He Is? We go to the Word of God ( God’s Truth). There we discover our creator’s wonderful plan to know Him and His Son Whom He has sent. ( 1 Thessalonians 3:13, James 1:23-24,John 6;29)
“But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit–the Father will send Him in My name–will teach you all things and remind you of everything I have told you. ” John 14:26
God has a unique pattern and plan for our life, but it is our choice to follow it or go our own way:
There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death. Proverbs 14:6
We can fall into a black hole that leads to darkness or we can shine like lights leading the way to eternal life through Jesus Christ – The Bright Morning Star.
Whom will you follow? The Creator or the created thing?

Anything or anyone purposely distracting you from the Truth and a relationship with God through Jesus Christ is evil. Avoid such a thing and a one. ( 1 Thessalonians 5:22)
