”So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Genesis 1: 27
Genesis 1: 26-31, 1 John 3:2, Galatians 4:19, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Matthew 9: 16-17, Romans8:29, Ephesians 2: 8-9, Romans 10:8-13
God’s D-NA = God’s Divine NAture
“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities–his eternal power and divine nature–have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” Romans 1:20
What identifies you as distinct and unique among all living creatures and among all human beings is your genetic molecular structure known as DNA- genetic code. Within every cell of your body you have a code of instructions uniquely designed which determine your physical and innate characteristics.
King David known as a man after God’s own heart, gave insight into the intricacy of our physical and spiritual nature and how we are designed for a specific and predetermined purpose (Psalm 139: 13-18 ).
The Prophet Jeremiah recognized God’s loving kindness towards all mankind and knew His predetermined plan is always Good (Jeremiah 29:11).
The Apostle Paul who changed directions and followed Jesus Christ proclaiming His Gospel Message agreed with David’s insight of God’s predetermined plan to conform us into His Likeness. So he went out to proclaim Christ’s redemption to a people who knew not God (Romans 8: 28-35).
In the beginning of creation God created mankind (male and female) in His Image. We were uniquely designed and created to be like God and have fellowship with Him. We were predestined to develop into the “Likeness” of His Son, Jesus Christ
(Genesis 1-2, Psalm 8:4-9, 2 Corinthians 3:18).
When God created mankind, He created them in His image. And when He created Eve, He took from man and formed her to be like him. So together, they were as one representing God’s divine nature. And God made all provision for their physical and spiritual beings (Genesis 1-2, Genesis 2: 20-25, John 17: 21-26 ).
But Adam and Eve chose to take a different route, one away from the nature of God, doubting His Goodness, Eve believed a lie and as Adam listened to His wife instead of God, their divine nature became corrupted. But an omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent God foreknew of the rebellion and predestined and predetermined their regeneration and redemption (Genesis 3, Genesis 3:15, Romans 8:29, John 3:16, John 1: 1-4, Isaiah 53).
Therefore, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ: God in the flesh – The Living Word – the eternal TRUTH. So that all who repent of their sins, believing in Christ’s death for the forgiveness of sin, and His resurrection as proof of eternal life would be conformed and transformed into His Image with the characteristics of His Holy Spirit:
(John 3:16, 2 Corinthians 3:18, John 1, Luke 23:39-43, Romans 10: 8-9).
LOVE, JOY, PEACE,
PATIENCE, FAITHFULNESS, KINDNESS,
GENTLENESS, SELF-CONTROL, GOODNESS
Galatians 5: 22-23
Those who hear the Truth and are converted become the offspring of the Living God and are transformed. The more they surrender to God’s Divine NAture, the more they become Christ-like. God’s offspring have eternal life and will reign with His Son, as His Bride forever.
Just as Eve was taken from Adam, so it is Christ gave birth to the church – His eternal Bride. (Genesis 3:15, Acts 17: 29-30, Romans 6:13, Galatians 2:20, Ephesians 5:31-32,
John 19:34, 2 Corinthians 11:2).
Those who reject the Truth- God’s Only Way of Salvation, take on the characteristics of Satan’s nature. The more they surrender to his nature, the more they become like him, rebelling against God’s only way of redemption; eternally separated from – Jesus Christ (Genesis 3:15, Romans 2:8, John 14:6, John 8:44,2 Corinthians 4:4).
If we do not take on Christ’s righteousness through faith in His death for the forgiveness of our sin then we remain in bondage to our sinful nature which is in opposition to God’s which brings forth His judgment. But Christ has come to set us free.
(Proverbs 14:12, John 3:5, 1 Corinthians 6: 9-11, John 12:47-48, Romans 6:2,
Romans 2:8-9, John 8:36 ).
There is a spiritual war going on which Christ has won the victory through His shed blood. Those who are covered in His blood through faith in His death on the cross and in His resurrection have passed from death to life. Those in faith will see Christ’s coming and will be with Him forever. Those who refuse His salvation have no covering and remain naked, choosing the path of eternal death and punishment, separated from God’s eternal love (Genesis 3: 7-11, 1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17, Revelation 3:8, 1 John 3:14, Proverbs 14:12,
John 14:6, Ephesians 6:12).
Dear One, You were made for God’s glory and He loves you unconditionally. As one sin separated Adam and Eve from God’s presence, so do your own. Even if your sins are as numerous as the sands and as scarlet as your blood, they are washed away the moment you acknowledge your sinful nature and accept Christ’s death on the cross. Then your sinful nature will begin the process of transforming into God’s divine nature as He comes to dwell in your being through His Holy Spirit
(Isaiah 1:18, Psalm 103:11-12, Matthew 1:23, 1 Corinthians 6:19, 2 Corinthians 3:18, Romans 10:8-9).
You will become His temple whom He is pleased to dwell. You will be marked and sealed for eternal life. And you will walk in His light and do the deeds made manifest by the Holy Spirit. For the one who believes is also destined to walk in Truth. The One Who began the work and sanctification in your life is faithful to complete it “on the day Christ Jesus returns”
(1 Corinthians 6:19, 1 John 1:7, John 3:16, Isaiah 1:18, Ephesians 1:13,
2 Corinthians 1: 21-22, Ephesians 2:10, Philippians 1:6, 1 Corinthians 3:16).
The former things are gone, the new is now here as you believe and become who you were predestined to be in Christ Jesus- His offspring with His DNA. (2 Corinthians 5:17-21)
