Thanks Mary. Will share this with my friend!
Excellent Question. I will follow up with my answer soon. Let us say at this time, however, stars are referred to as angels or exalted ones. JESUS is referred to not as the morning star but The “Bright” Morning Star. Big difference. Satan is not referred to as the “Bright” Morning Star”.
I will expand further on this soon. Thank you.

Satan is not referred to as the Bright Morning Star, but rather “son of the morning” because he exalted himself above the heavens, above God.
“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning*! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.” Isaiah 14: 12-14
The morning star could be referred to as maybe “Venus” representing mythological gods. Since Venus appears in the evening and in the morning which appears to be wandering. This is also a reference to angels who left their domain and those who wandered from the faith – wandering stars as mentioned in Jude 1: 3-13. They are not stars that bring light but appear as light.
Jesus proclaims He is the “bright Morning Star, ( the true light) in Revelation 22:16. The true light that shines brightly, is not hidden, but there for everyone to see. The one in the beginning of creation and the one who shines brightly at the beginning of each day. He is also the “gospel light”. The message of Good News”.

A friend recently reminded me that Satan was also called the bright morning star. How can we call Jesus the same name?
