About Doula Faith

Hi, I’m Mary and this is my blog. The Greek interpretation for “Doula” means “woman servant”.  I am passionate about serving Jesus Christ by sharing my faith and encouraging yours. It is my hope that my blogs inspire you to know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and more intimately, as Lord of your life.

“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.”
1 Thessalonians 5:11

God’s Compassion for His Children

“Can a woman forget her nursing child and have no compassion on the son of her womb?  Even these may forget, but I will not forget you.”

Isaiah 49:15

    does God forgive transsexuals ?

    • God certainly forgives all sin and that includes all sexual sin – fornication, adultery, homosexuality, beastiality, and transexual.
A person who is a heterosexual but commits adultery or has sexual sin with anyone outside of marriage between a man and a woman, is just as guilty as the transexual. God has made men and women in His image and within marriage they become one.
Forgiveness comes with true repentance- the forsaking of practicing the sin, and asking God to take over our life.
Jesus shed His blood on the cross for every sin, and when we believe and accept His death and punishment for our sin, we are forgiven and receive eternal life. There is only one sin that can not be forgiven and that is rejection of God’s forgiveness through His Son’s sacrifice. Jesus was resurrected from the dead to demonstrate we have eternal life through Him, and when we die, if we have asked Him to forgive us we have the Promise of eternal life. After we are saved, if we sin, we can always be forgiven, when we are sincere. 1 John 1:9

I noticed u said we r predestined. Does that mean ONLY certain people God has chosen for heaven

    • What is predestined is that all who come to faith in Jesus Christ will be conformed into His image. If only certain people are chosen for salvation then it would contradict ” “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3: 16. Also, God’s Word says that once we come to faith in Christ’s salvation, He completes the work of our salvation. So, what is predestined is that those who are saved will be conformed to His likeness. There are so many scriptures relating to salvation through faith for everyone. We are chosen because we are saved, and because God is omnipotent, He knows the ones who will accept His gift of salvation and those who will not, by their choice, not His.
