Card 1: Thinking of You

“I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”  Philippians 1: 3-6

What a wonderful thing to know you are prayerfully in someone’s thoughts.  Everyone needs encouragement, and the knowledge they are not in this walk in Christ, alone.
But those in Christ share one thing in common, the Holy Spirit, who reminds us of one another because our kinship is not temporary, something to take for granted, but rather with the understanding we are in the eternal family of God.
More importantly, Our Savior is thinking of us, too, as He continues to intercede for us and brings our petitions before the Father, whose answer to His Son is always, “YES”.

Card 2: Thank You!

“Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.”
Psalm 34:8

Anyone who has experienced the goodness of God can not help but be thankful.  The words, “Thank You”, are so precious that Jesus made a point to speak about it after cleansing ten lepers. Ten lepers approached Jesus for healing and He responded by telling them to go show themselves to the priest, which meant they would be healed. On the way to present themselves to the priests they saw they were cleansed, but only one, who was considered a foreigner among the jews, returned to give Jesus thanks.
Jesus replied, “Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine? Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?”

But the thing we can be thankful for the most is God’s salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ.  For it is not by our works but by His grace through faith in Jesus Christ’s sacrifice we can be saved. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but has everlasting life.” John 3:16

“Thank You” are just two little words, but are powerful and can do so much.  Luke 17: 11-19

Card 3: Happy Birthday!

“For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb.
I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.” Psalm 139: 13-14

When Nicodemus inquired of the Lord concerning spiritual things, Jesus told him he would have to be born again in order to see the Kingdom of God. ( John 3:13 ).
Our birth is a wonderful thing, and we celebrate it again and again, but there is a birth which surpasses it all and takes place when we believe in God’s only Son.

“Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you,
unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Card 4: Happy Birthday!

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Did you know when you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior God develops His plan for you within your heart? Your plans become His plans and what He begins in you He completes.
Such assurance inspires us to move forward in the most difficult circumstances because our life is in the Lord’s hands and all He has predestined for those who loves Him is good, because He is Good.
